Cela faisait un moment que la chanson “Ça a cuit” de Ko-C était annoncé sur les réseaux sociaux. Tout d’abord annoncé sous forme de polémique du genre “la famille j’ai besoin de votre aide ça a cuit” puis par la publication de l’affiche qui annonçait une sortie de musique. Net à ladite sortie, le public a directement fait un rapprochement avec un jeune rapeur au nom de Frank Anicet Notue qui avait préalablement fait un freestyle sur Bimstr intitulé “ça cuit” (voir ici). Après avoir écouté plusieurs fois les deux versions, nous avons décidé de faire une analyse poussée.

1 – Il est traité de copieur par Jovi

Souvenez vous il y a quelques semaines, l’artiste Ko-C se faisait clasher par Jovi sur Twitter. Ce dernier l’accusait d’être une pâle copie du rapeur ghanéen Sarkodie. En fait, si on réfléchit bien, on constate même que Ko-C aurait des tendances qui proviennent pas mal du côté du Nigeria ou du Ghana. Que ce soit sa rapidité, sa façon d’écrire ses textes, etc.

2- Ko-C serait trop fan d’Olamidé

C’est naturel et normal qu’un artiste ait une ou plusieurs idoles. Mais cependant, lorsqu’on devient le miroir de celui-ci au point d’être comme lui, cela devient très embêtant pour une carrière. On constate aussi que l’artiste camerounais ne copierait pas seulement le style musical, mais aussi les pas de danse.

3- Accusé de plagiat et copié modifié

Les fans du jeune Frank Anicet Notue et les Z’experts de Bimstr n’ont vraiment pas donné le lait à Ko-C. Nous de notre côté avons poussé le bouchon un peu plus loin que çà. S’arrêter uniquement sur le freestyle d’Anicet ne suffit pas pour parler de plagiat. D’ailleurs le concerné ne sait pas encore plaint jusqu’ici. Bien que la thématique soit presque identique et traité un peu de la même manière, les rythmes eux ne sont pas pareil. Ko-C serait donc allé chercher le rythme chez son idole Olamide dans le titre Poverty pour agencer à tout ça et faire une synthèse?

Pouvons nous nous baser uniquement de ces éléments pour dire que Ko-C est un plagieur? De toute façon écoutez vous même.

Observons bien la charte graphique du flyer de la chanson. On remarque néanmoins la similitude avec celle de MTN. N’oublions pas que la marque a déjà utilisé plusieurs concepts venant des artistes de musique urbaine tel que “Yamo“, “Le gout de ça“, etc. Ko-C serait donc en train de faire un appel de balle pour se faire brander? D’ailleurs on l’entend dire dans la chanson “Every where you go, you be mobile like MTN”.
