Jeeno est l’un des artistes qui ne fait pas assez de bruit dans le Game mais construit sa carrière petit-à-petit. Il y a encore il sortait “E don stay” puis “Better Woman” et aujourd’hui il dit que c’est “Compliqué” en collaboration avec Shura.

Si on observe bien l’évolution de ses chansons, on voit bien une suite logique. Depuis son premier single, il parle d’amour, d’une relation qu’il entretient avec une femme. Jeeno serait en train de nous parler de sa vie amoureuse? Puisqu’au départ il dit “E don stay” : ce qui signifie qu’il a réussi à convaincre sa compagne de vivre avec lui. Ensuite, il sort “Better Woman” (Meilleure femme) comme pour nous faire comprendre qu’il a la meilleure femme du monde. Sauf qu’aujourd’hui il vient avec Compliqué.

Pourquoi l’amour est autant compliqué?

Une chanson significative qui explique simplement comment l’amour vrai souffre dans une relation. Cela nous dit simplement que si nous nous battons et que nous nous querellons ne signifie pas que nous devrions nous séparer. Peu importe combien de fois nous avons des problèmes, cela aide plutôt l’amour à devenir plus fort.

Jeeno dans un rythme dancehall afro-pop / afro, une danse qui révèle très souvent la sensualité des danseurs, est dans un système “wandayance” sur sa compagne. Elle dit pourtant que “je sais que tu m’apprécies et tes amis aussi m’apprécient… Je sais dans ton cœur il n’y a plus d’espace pour m’aimer… Cesse de rêver, toi et moi ça ne peut pas marcher“. Il ne comprend pas pourquoi entre eux c’est aussi compliqué.
