C’est décembre 2018. On sait qu’en fin d’année, généralement, on est plus enclin à faire la paix. Cette règle n’est pas toujours un théorème, plus encore dans le monde du show-biz. Bien que nous sommes au lendemain de la fête de la nativité, Jovi et Stanley Enow, se sont livrés à de violents échanges sur Twitter. En effet ils s’unissent autour d’un dénominateur commun : le clash.

Tout d’abord Jovi est sans aucun doute l’un des plus prolifiques rappeurs camerounais de son temps. Néanmoins on s’aperçoit bien évidemment qu’il évite la foule aka ses fans depuis belle lurette. En outre il y a bien longtemps on a pas vu d’affiches de spectacles ou d’événements d’envergure avec le Mboko God y participant. Les clashs incessants entre les deux ténors se nourrissent des mésaventures des uns et des autres. Est ce la raison pour laquelle Stanley Enow poste le tweet virulent ci dessous?

L’histoire retient que c’est @Joel_Yvan qui allume la mèche, ce fameux 25 décembre 2018, en postant un tweet sur un possible concert clash entre les deux stars.

S’ensuit alors un échange sans précédent sur Twitter. Les fans des deux camps s’y mettent à cœur joie et des personnages du showbiz comme Brice Albin ou encore Fulbert s’y collent. S’il est vrai que côté marketing Stanley Enow depuis des années est une référence, nul ne peut néanmoins mettre en doute le consensus populaire que génère le Mboko God.

Good Old Rivality

La rivalité qui oppose les deux n’est pour autant pas à minimiser. Bien que les faits soient têtus, il est inéluctable de remarquer que la carrière de Stanley Enow, au sens de monnaies trébuchantes, est plus lucrative que celle du Mboko God. Ce dernier peut avoir le même succès et pourquoi pas plus? mais force est de constater qu’il est, ces dernières années, plus proche des Kicks et Snares que de ses fans.

Buzz et révélations

Finalement j’adore les clashs dans le monde du rap, ça fait partie de la tradition(dixit booba et kaaris). Mais dans ce cas précis, je trouve assez futile. J’irais même jusqu’à croire que c’est un beef monté de toutes pièces.

Nonobstant la volonté affichée des deux protagonistes à en découdre, l’on remarque que le timing ne peut être plus parfait. Dans le tumulte, le Mboko God annonce au passage son retour au devant de la scène, par l’intermédiaire de quelques concerts. STAY TUNED!
