Le concept brand ambassador, un phénomène nouveau qui prends de l’ampleur actuellement sous le ciel camerounais. Le monde de la culture camerounaise et celui du business ont de plus en plus d’intersections. Nous assistons depuis quelques années à la renaissance du “made by camer” avec l’avènement d’une nouvelle génération sur la scène musicale camerounaise. En effet, à force de travail et de talent, il parvient à hisser haut le drapeau vert rouge jaune au délà de nos frontières.

La concurrence sous-régionale

Malgré l’hégémonie de la mouvance nigériane, ivoirienne et congolaise, des jeunes artistes ont su tirer leur épingle du jeu. Notamment Magasco, Minks, Franko, Locko, Ténor, Stanley Enow, Maalhox, Daphné, Mr Leo, Salatiel ou  Numerica pour ne citer que ceux là. Je commençais à m’interroger sur le pourquoi, les marques locales ne capitalisaient pas sur ces phénomènes. Car c’est une réelle opportunité de construire sa marque autour des valeurs du travail, du talent et du professionnalisme. Des valeurs que beaucoup d’artistes camerounais incarnent. Il est clair que la qualité des clips, le lifestyle, le personal branding font d’eux des humans brands bien que beaucoup reste encore à faire.

Je me réjoui tout de même de voir des évolutions. En effet certaines entreprises n’ont pas attendues un son de cloche ou un décret pour capitaliser sur ces succès. Ils valorisent par ricochet le travail de la jeunesse du 237.
