IST(MST) les condoms préservatifs qui changent de couleurs

L’utilité du préservatif intelligent couplé à la technologie n’a jamais autant été mise au-devant de la scène. C’est au cours d’une édition du Teen Tech Award que trois jeunes collégiens ont créé des préservatifs intelligents qu’ils ont nommés «S.T.E.Y.E».

Comme partie intégrante du concours, Muaz Nawaz (13 ans), Daanyaal Ali (14 ans) et Chirag Shah (14 ans) on créé S.T.E.Y.E, le condom qui contient des couches de molécules permettant de détecter des bactéries associées aux IST(MST) les plus communes.

La couleur de ce préservatif ou condom intelligent change en fonction du virus auquel il s’attache. Les couleurs: Jaune pour l’herpès, Violet pour le papillomavirus, Vert pour chlamydia ou encore Bleu pour la syphilis. Si pendant l’affaire là le préservatif ne brille pas en changeant de couleur un souffle de libération peut être émi.

Lors de la compétition, les jeunes affirment qu’ils veulent : « inventer quelque chose qui permet de détecter facilement les IST(MST). Ceci afin que les gens puissent se tester tranquillement à la maison sans avoir à aller chez le docteur ».

Ces préservatifs sont une aubaine pour notre société, des vies seront sauvées. En effet les malades peuvent plus facilement diagnostiquer sans passer par les hôpitaux. Ces derniers peuvent par la suite se faire traiter de manière adéquate dans ces hôpitaux. Car nous le savons nombreux sont ceux qui ne sont même pas « aware ».

Bien que cette idée soit brillante, elle est encore à son stage embryonnaire. En effet il faut encore beaucoup de temps pour que ces « glow in the dark» condoms intelligents apparaissent dans nos localités. Mais, ceci pourrait bel et bien être une révolution dans la vie de couple et la vie sexuelle des humains dans ce monde où le taux de contamination aux IST(MST) est toujours aussi croissant.
