Créé en 2013 ils deviennent vraiment actifs en 2016. Le groupe envisage premièrement accumuler des spectacles, se faire connaître et maîtriser l’art de la scène. Ceci dit, en plus des reprises, le groupe expérimente déjà ses chansons personnelles lors des différentes prestations. Le groupe Pioneers souhaite alors se donner le temps et commencer à enregistrer en deuxième partie de l’année 2018 ou en début 2019.  Constitué d’Arthur Himins (Basse), Steve Missongle (Guitare), Fred Anthony (Batterie) et Benoît Landesmann qui sont les membres permanents. Le groupe est complété par Bissa Marie-Antoinette (Chant) et Alain Ekwe (Piano).

Le groupe Pioneers est musicalement très éclectique et puise ses influences de partout. Sa musique est principalement axée autour du Rock/Métal. En tant que groupe musical, il se lance aussi dans du social. Leurs objectifs sont les suivantes :

  • Faire découvrir la musique Rock/Métal au public Camerounais et leur faire découvrir ses multiples facettes, dans un conteste ou ces musiques sont vues comme principalement déviantes.
  • Offrir quelque chose de différent et novateur au public (Camerounais) dans leur contexte, dans lequel la musique Afro Trap et Afro Pop tend à être prédominante.
  • Offrir aux artistes locaux d’autres styles l’opportunité de promouvoir leur musique et de s’ouvrir à de nouvelles expériences musicales en s’essayant sur du rock.
  • Partager un message de paix et d’amour à travers leurs chansons.

  • Le Festirock 2015/2016/2017/2018 : Rendez-vous de la musique Rock et Métal au Cameroun, le Festirock (dont Arthur Himins est le promoteur) est un évènement qui promeut la musique Rock/Métal particulièrement, mais également les musiques d’autres styles. C’est une plateforme d’expression ou les groupes de Rock & Métal peuvent s’exprimer et se faire découvrir, mais également interagir avec d’autres artistes ou groupes d’autres styles musicaux et même partager ensemble de nouvelles expériences musicales. La 4ème édition a eu lieu en février cette année à l’Institut français de Douala
  • Le Récital du CMAN (Club Des Amis de Néhémie) : organisé pour les élèves de l’école de Musique CMAN afin de mettre en pratique ce qu’ils ont appris, mais également permettre à des artistes de se faire découvrir. La 12ème Edition a eu lieu à l’Institut Français, le Vendredi 11 Juin 2017.
  • Le Concert SILENT NIGHT : organisé par le leader du groupe de Métal Roar Of Heroes, il s’est tenu dans la nuit du 03 au 04 Juin 2016 à Beedi.
