Philosophie du projet ADNA

ADNA (Alliance Divine pour un Nouvel Art) est un projet de 7 titres qui plongent au cœur des rythmes Makune (danse traditionnelle du peuple Bassa) mêlés à 4 des plus grandes voix masculines de la scène musicale camerounaise, Final D, Armand Biyag, Andy Jéméa et Roger Samnig du Groupe X Maleya.

“Wô wada U n’kang be djomb” (une seule main ne peut nouer un
paquet) est l’adage en langue Bassa qui résume le message du projet : l’union fait la force. La solidarité, la joie, le partage et les louanges sont les principaux thèmes et les valeurs partagées tout au long de l’album. Plus qu’un projet musical, c’est un véritable appel à l’unité et la paix dans une atmosphère socio-économique difficile à la manière de nos coutumes ancestrales autour des rythmes traditionnels et de la danse.

Roger Samnig | Un artiste et grand homme d’affaire

Roger Samnig positionné ici comme un rassembleur qui a jugé au-delà des problèmes qui surviennent au pays, de s’unir dans un projet à plusieurs. Avec ce projet, il fait d’une pierre à plusieurs coups. Tout d’abord, soucieux de ne pas voir un talent comme Final D s’éteindre ; car selon lui, il est la plus belle voix que le Cameroun ait connu jusqu’ici. Sans toutes fois oublier les divisions qui croissent dans tout le territoire et en particulier chez les Bassa. Il se dit donc qu’en interpellant déjà la communauté Bassa qui se divise de jour en jour, il donnera l’exemple qui pourra impacter le reste du territoire entier. Certains s’interrogent toujours sur pourquoi viser uniquement la communauté Bassa ? Cependant Roger réitère en disant que ce projet est le début d’une très grande suite avec les artistes de divers horizons. Aujourd’hui nous avons ADNA Tome 0 et bientôt nous auront le Tome 1, 2,3, etc.

Par  ce projet qui est déjà une production de XM Music, il se présente aussi comme le booster de la carrière d’Armand Biyag, d’Andy, et le retour en vogue de Final D sur la scène musicale. Les projets personnels de ces artistes seront produits par le même label.

Quatre rossignols, quatre arrangeurs

Notons que nos 4 artistes sont propriétaires d’un studio d’enregistrements. Etant dans des villes différentes chacun enregistrait de son côté selon l’inspiration qui lui parvenait et les données étaient centralisés chez Roger pour les mix et master. Le projet ADNA est donc le fruit de la collaboration entre une équipe de musiciens à la carrière bien remplie. On y retrouve notamment le guitariste Marcien Metogo ou encore Ruben Binam au clavier.

Premier single et déjà une reprise

Le premier extrait du projet, intitulé “Carnaval”, dévoilé le 17 mars. Une reprise originale du classique “Une Nuit de Carnaval” de Julio Iglesias, un brassage culturel de rythmes d’ici et d’ailleurs.
