Après Askia, Blaise B, c’est au tour de Mr Leo de partir du label Alpha Better Records. Cela fait exactement 13 ans que Salatiel et Mr Leo cheminent ensemble. Une expérience qui va au-delà la musique. Ils sont devenus plus que des collègues, des amis mais plutôt des frères. Le scenario de leur séparation n’était donc pas envisageable du fait de la relation qui les liait. Grande est donc la surprise de voir et surtout de vivre cette séparation.

On avait quand même vu la separation venir?

Le Cameroun étant un territoire moins sûr pour assurer l’avenir des artistes, Mr Leo anticipe en se lançant lui même au cœur du business. Tout d’abord en mettant sur pied un restaurant et par la suite son propre label (Lion Prod). En son sein, il possède des artistes bien talentueux (Gomez et Kameni) dont il assure la production. Seulement avec ces détails, on peut dire que l’artiste était suffisamment mûr pour voler de ses propres ailes. En gros on ne devrait pas être étonné s’il n’a plus renouvelé son contrat en tant qu’artiste d’Alpha Better Records.

Lion Prod est aujourd’hui une centrale électrique et assez forte pour contenir le lion lui-même. C’est une croissance dont nous sommes est fier. Salatiel donc le travail continuera mais cette fois, il prendra une nouvelle voie avec son propre label qui fait toujours partie de cette grande famille.
