Tout d’abord il faut préciser que ce n’est pas Nimon Toki Lala la togolaise ni Lyli Toki signé chez Ach4life. Elle c’est Toki Lala de son vrai nom Kate Obi. C’est une chanteuse originaire de la région du Sud-Ouest précisément à Mamfé. Elle propose son single “Real love” pour montrer de quoi elle est capable.

Ceux qui suivent la musique urbaine camerounaise entre 2014 et 2017 sauront que Toki Lala est là depuis longtemps. Elle est tombée amoureuse de la musique depuis sa tendre enfance et a nourri la passion jusqu’à nos jours. La jeune auteur-compositeur-interprète, chanteuse et entrepreneure a eu l’opportunité de travailler avec les principaux acteurs du divertissement au Cameroun, au Ghana et au Nigeria au cours de ses premières années sous les projecteurs et au cours de sa longue période de silence.

Sa disparition de la scène musicale était une bénédiction déguisée. Bien que silencieuse aux yeux du public, elle était plus occupée comme jamais. Elle voulait se retrouver et créer une banque de contenus de qualité en vue de son retour.

Sous une prod de PhillBillBeatz, l’artiste parle de son idéologie personnelle à propos de l’amour. Elle transmet ainsi son expérience personnelle et celle de ses proches. Pour elle l’amour comme la musique sont spirituelles et méritent un traitement délicat. Chaque instrument et chaque ligne dans les paroles portent un message vital exprimé de la manière la plus simple. Son souhait est que chaque Africain puisse être en relation avec cette œuvre d’art à un niveau personnel.
