Évent | Concert de Damso au Cameroun par Y Prod

Il faut quand même avoir les “couilles” pour inviter l’un des ténors du rap français au Cameroun. Bien que Y Prod ayant de l’expérience dans l’accompagnement et l’organisation des grands événements, organiser le concert de Damso au Cameroun reste l’un des plus grands défis pour eux.

Notons que ce concert de Damso au Cameroun était le tout premier concert du “leader de la scène rap francophone actuelle. Le rappeur belge d’origine congolaise, certifié disque de diamant et triple disque de platine qui s’est imposé en seulement 3 ans comme l’un des mailleurs rappeurs de la décennie. Comme lieu était choisi Canal Olympia de Bessengue le 29 juin 2019. Une occasion pour l’artiste d’offrir au public camerounais son premier show et de rencontrer la scène du rap local.

Comment Y Prod arrive à organiser ce concert ?

Pour les accompagner dans ce projet, Y Prod fait recourt à pret d’une vingtaine de partenaires. On aura notamment : Canal 2 Internationnal, Coca Cola, Booster, Media plus, Canal +, Boom Tv, Trace Africa, Brussels airlines, Afro Leenk, Mister Doe, Wy Bap, Easy Group Experience, Midnyte Club, Africa Security, AGC Assurance, Madoky, Yuma, Strong Live, Nuevo Mundo Africa, The Vie, Jeericho, myshippingpack.

Avec autant de sponsors, on ne pouvait que s’attendre à un événement de très grande envergure. Nous avons d’ailleurs assisté à une conférence de presse 1 mois avant l’événement (ce qui était une grande première dans l’événementiel). Il était donc question de présenter le projet sous toutes ses formes ainsi que le dispositif qui serait mis en place.

De VIP à VI super P (VIP +)

Les prix des tickets variaient entre 3000, 10 000 (VIP) et 50 000 (VIP +). Les tickets VIP et VIP + donnaient droit à une très bonne position pour vivre le concert. Seulement avec le VIP +, l’on avait le privilège de rencontrer l’artiste, discuter avec lui et prendre des photos la veille (Meet and Greet).

Jour du concert et rigueur sur la sécurité

L’agence de sécurité (Africa Security) a déployé plus de 200 agents ce jour. Des différents parking jusqu’aux loges, tout était coordonné de tel en sorte que tout se passe dans de très bonnes conditions. Il y avait plusieurs barrières qui filtraient les mauvaises intrusions pour éviter des agressions. Plus de 1000 personnes sans tickets étaient rester à l’extérieur.

Les premières parties

Loin des mêmes têtes qu’on a l’habitude de voir, il était aussi question de donner la chance à d’autres personnes et rester dans le thème du Hip-Hop. C’est comme ça qu’on aura Maxtor, Sojip, le groupe One 237 et quelques avec des hits qui montrent pour le compte de ces vacances comme Janea Pol’hanry ou Mbeekool. Ils ont tous assuré mais le meilleur de tous qui a vraiment tout déchiré c’est vraiment Maxtor.

Dans l’ensemble le concert était un réel succès. Le public s’est amusé et a pris un grand plaisir à vivre cet événement. Jusqu’ici on enregistre que des retours positifs sur l’organisation et la prestation de leur star Damso.

L’organisation peut donc avoir une satisfaction que tout ce soit passé comme prévu. Beaucoup de stress mais finalement un soulagement d’avoir bien fait les choses tant sur le plan communicationnel que sur le plan organisationnel. On parle alors d’une réussite totale dans l’ensemble. La seulement que je me pose est savoir s’il y a eu une rentabilité des investissements? Ne connaissant pas les chiffres exacts je ne sais pas mais probablement vu la foule présente on peut dire qu’il n’y a pas de perte.

Vivement que ce type d’initiative continue et face grandir l’image du Cameroun à l’extérieur.
