BIOGRAPHIE
Pouncy Kido est né le 2 mars 1999 sous le nom de Paul Wirngo. Il est le seul homme de la famille des trois. Son père aimait la musique et avait une guitare à la maison qu’il a joué et son petit garçon va regarder, sourire et applaudir. À l’âge de 5 ans, il commence à apprendre à dessiner, ce qu’il fait très bien. Par ailleurs, il a toujours écouté de la musique chantée par Michael Jackson, bien que obsoléte, il a également appris à danser comme lui.
À l’âge de 7 ans, il savait qu’il avait le don du chant. Comme danseur, il a été nommé meilleur chanteur de la catégorie des enfants dans une église. En octobre 2008, il a commencé à aller en studio pour regarder les gens chanter. N’ayant jamais eu la chance de chanter parce qu’il n’avait pas d’argent et qu’il avait l’air trop petit. C’est ainsi qu’il réussi à se procurer un ordinateur Pentium avec lequel il composait ses chansons. Après un certain temps, il a continué à aller dans ce studio et un jour, quelqu’un qui le remarquait a dû l’appeler et c’est alors qu’il a eu la chance de voir un vrai micro d’enregistrement.
On lui a donné du temps dans l’enregistrement et son freestyle a ressemblé à un texte écrit. Il a si bien chanté que le directeur du studio lui offra chanter gratuitement. En effet c’est ainsi que sa carrière musicale commence. Il s’est mis à écrire et à chanter une chanson en 2009 quand il a été populairement connu comme Pounce. Tout compte fait, il enregistre en 2011 son premier EP: “bénédictions”, composé de 7 chansons.
Ses parents ne soutenaient pas l’idée qu’il fasse de la musique. Cependant ils l’avaient averti et battu à plusieurs reprises, lui avaient dit qu’il ne serait pas musicien, mais il ne l’a pas lâché. Plus tard, ils ont remarqué son talent et l’ont encouragé en lui achetant une guitare. À l’âge de 17 ans, il était indépendant de ses parents et est allé vivre dans un studio avec ses deux amis, où il est resté une semaine ou deux et s’est dirigé vers Douala où il a rencontré de nouveaux artistes qui lui ont donné l’inspiration. dans les bars, concerts pour n’en nommer que quelques-uns. Il a utilisé sa guitare pour se produire à plusieurs occasions comme des mariages, des anniversaires, des concerts etc …
Dès lors il a connu une très bonne amélioration de la musique. Depuis qu’il était très pauvre, seul et ne pouvait pas se permettre les producteurs. Il réussi à trouver des ingénieurs pour produire ses chansons, il n’avait pas d’autre choix que de devenir lui-même un producteur. La musique est sa passion et la production est son travail. Il a eu son niveau ordinaire G.C.E en 2015 et actuellement un étudiant à être signé sous une nouvelle étiquette appelée ASTON MANET MUSIC. Pouncy Kido ne fait que des freestyles sur les beats.

Jeune label qui est à sa troisième année d’existence, veut faire des choses bien et de matière plus professionnelle. Le label décide de faire confiance au talent de Pouncy Kido et signe pour une durée de 7ans. Présenté Samedi dernier lors d’une conférence de presse à Douala, nous espérons qu’il se fera sa place dans le game.
Avec déjà quelques vidéogrammes a son actif, l’artiste est en pleine préparation d’un album qui verra le jour dans les mois avenir. Il compte touché le cœur de plusieurs fans dans le territoire. il a voulu s’installer à Douala pour être à proximité de son équipe.

Sorti il y’a quelques jours et réalisé par Blade77 Film, l’artiste nous transporte dans un rythme Afropop aux multiples sensations.
