EMPIRE NIGHT, la saison 3 est lancée.
Vu la place qu’occupe la musique urbaine dans la culture camerounaise d’aujourd’hui, il était important d’avoir un évènement qui concilie les acteurs et
amoureux de l’art urbain. C’est pour répondre à ce besoin que le label
“Engineering Empire” en partenariat avec “Kamer urbain” a lancé en 2016 à
Douala, EMPIRE NIGHT une nuit de culture urbaine.

Cet événement est devenu très vite le rendez-vous de tous les
acteurs de la culture urbaine. Aujourd’hui à sa troisième saison, le
rendez-vous est désormais chaque vendredi soir au Cabaret MIAMI sis au
Carrefour Palais Dika Akwa (rue des poissons).

Le Programme

Les soirées ont pour objectif d’offrir une véritable plate-forme d’expression et
d’échange de la musique en permettant aux artistes de présenter leur savoir-
faire. Pour ce nouveau départ quelques innovations marquantes :
– le passage du show du format showcase au format mini concert car
désormais la programmation se fera avec uniquement 3 à 4 artistes par
soirée, avec un temps de scène d’au moins 15 mins.
– La session freestyle est désormais thématisée avec des lots à gagner,
– et la production d’une émission pendant l’évènement.

Statistiques

À ce jour l’évènement rassemble en moyenne 500 personnes par édition et c’est
déjà plus de 10.000 participants et un grand nombre d’artistes ayant foulé les
planches de la scène.

Le lancement de la saison 3 a eu lieu le 27 avril 2018, avec comme artistes
invités, TAKUST Kaizer, VALUE (artiste Enigineering) et VANISTER (Gagnant du récent Hip-Hop Talent Search).

Le rendez-vous est donc désormais pris chaque vendredi soir au Cabaret MIAMI
à partir de 21h.
