Loin d’être “iscariote“, Juddah est un peintre, poète, philosophe et Rappeur connu de la scène HIP HOP au Cameroun. Artiste pluridisciplinaire qui traine depuis plus de 10 ans, sa plume de poète, ses pinceaux et sa logique de libre penseur. Il nous propose donc dans cette optique son single “Moan Eton“.

On a très souvent tendance à coller une étiquette de délinquant, Voyou, dealer, ou tout autres qualifications négatives aux rappeurs. Sans savoir qu’il faut être super intelligent pour pondre des textes de rap. Juddah fait alors partie de ceux-là qui ont plus d’un tour dans leur sac. Diplômé de l’Université de Yaoundé II (Soa), Le Moan Eton est titulaire d’une Maîtrise de Business Law. Il est aussi Major de la promotion 2012 en graphisme de production au Centre professionnel de Don Bosco à Yaoundé.

Un appel à la prise de conscience

Il s’inspire de la crise socio–politique que vit le Cameroun depuis pas mal de temps déjà. La chanson pouvait avoir pour titre “Moan bassa” “Moan Awolor” “Moan haoussa” ou encore autres choses s’il était de ces tribus. Tout de même, son souhait est de mettre de côté les barrières mentales de la colonisation qui nous poussent à s’appeler francophone ou anglophone. Vu qu’il est plus facile de nous diviser en deux mais extrêmement difficiles lorsqu’il faut le faire pour plus de 250 tribus. En gros le message de Juddah est de nous faire prendre conscience de la force de notre diversité et de la force du nombre.

Avec le titre Moan Eton, on est trempé dans le Cameroun en profondeur. Un mélange de français, anglais et l’Eton pour encourager les uns et les autres à être soi-même. À utiliser nos talents pour protéger notre héritage culturel. Pour l’artiste, on devrait se sentir fier de parler sa langue maternelle. On devrait même ressentir le besoin d’apprendre à sa progéniture sa culture au risque de voir ce patrimoine disparaître.
