C’est sous le thème “Itinérances effervescentes” que la première édition du Ruinart Festiv’Art a tenu son engagement. Tout en facilitant la rencontre entre de brillants artistes africains et le grand public au Cameroun.

Du 21 au 26 octobre, les villes de Douala et Yaoundé ont vibré au rythme du RUINART Festiv’Art, un festival d’art contemporain qui a rassemblé près d’un millier de personnes autour d’œuvres d’artistes Africains.

Réparti entre 3 galeries partenaires dont la galerie MAM, l’Espace Doual’Art et l’Institut français du Cameroun – site de Douala. Le RUINART Festiv’Art a débuté sous les meilleurs auspices avec deux galeries éphémères dont le Douala Rabingha Hôtel et la Société Générale – complexe de Bali. Les différentes œuvres qui étaient dans ces lieux font partie de la collection privée de la galerie MAM.

L’Art Africain Au Cœur Du Ruinart Festiv’Art

Pour cette première édition, le Douala Rabingha Hôtel abritait les œuvres de cinq artistes talentueux à savoir : Boris Nzebo, Hervé Yamguen, Soly Cissé, Salifou Lindou et Joël Mpah Dooh. Accueillis  à la réception de l’institution par « Les poupées joyeuses » de Boris Nzebo, l’on ne pouvait savoir qu’elle préparait le chemin pour la découverte de « l’ange bleu », une œuvre pleine de sens réalisée par Hervé Yamguen pour ensuite nous laisser nous imprégner des divers tableaux d’autres artistes qui meublaient le décor.

Cependant, c’est dans une ambiance chaleureuse que la Société Générale du Cameroun –Complexe de  Bali a reçu ses convives.  Le décor exotique de la SGC a accueilli les « poupées joyeuses » de Boris Nzebo ainsi que les statues de bronze d’Hervé Yamguen et les tableaux magnifiques de Joël Mpah Dooh. Toutes étant des œuvres qui englobent les divers questionnements de ces artistes.

La découverte d’autres œuvres a continué le lendemain aux différents sièges d’Allianz et Total Cameroun. Les créations exceptionnelles de Boris Nzebo, Hervé Yamguen et Soly Cissé y étaient exposées. Comme le disait si bien le directeur artistique Landry Mbassi lors de la présentation des œuvres des artistes qui n’étaient  pas présent : “l’art c’est ce qui ouvre le champ d’humanisme et de collaboration entre les humains”.

Une collaboration qui a conduit au déroulement simultané du RUINART Festiv’Art dans deux grandes villes. À Douala, l’on assistait au vernissage de l’œuvre conjointe de Bili Bidjocka et Maurice Pefura intitulée “la pente, l’horizon et le nous“ sis à la galerie MAM. Abdias Ngateu quant à lui exposait ses créations au Kajazoma situé à Yaoundé.

Le lendemain, nous avons pu assister au vernissage du chef-d’œuvre grandiose dénommé “Babenga” par son concepteur Jean Michel Dissake. Cette inauguration artistique prônait en quelque sorte le recyclage. Plusieurs autorités à l’instar du chef supérieur du canton Bell, Jean Yves Eboumbou Douala Manga Bell. On n’oubliera pas le consul honoraire de l’Inde, Ravi Kumar qui était aussi de la partie.

Sous la supervision du directeur artistique Landry Mbassi, la première édition du RUINART Festiv’Art suit son cours le 24 Octobre à l’Institut Français du Cameroun – site de Douala «les suicidés de la mer » de Jean David Nkot).
