Le mot BUZZ de l’année 2018 au Cameroun est indiscutablement le PAPOSY (Palais polyvalent des sports de Yaounde). Effectivement les rumeurs, les annonces folles ou véridiques sur les différents événements annoncés au Paposy prennent les réseaux sociaux en otage.

La nouvelle folle de l’organisation d’un concert au Cameroun par Manu Dibango, a sa source dans un groupe whatsapp. Essentiellement divulgué par quelques “influenceurs” camerounais sur les réseaux sociaux, elle est la preuve de l’émoi qui sévit actuellement dans le monde artistique au cameroun.

En somme le plus fou dans l’histoire ce sont les personnalités du Showbizz qui sont tombés dans le panneau. Manu Dibango fêtant ses 70 ans de carriere et ceci en concert gratuit…

Il y’aura bel et bien concert au Paposy le 22 Juin, mais pour le compte des 70 ans des brasseries du Cameroun.

Après le passage de Fally Ipupa, le PAPOSY a fait couler beaucoup d’encre et salive. Sachant que depuis sa construction, aucun artiste camerounais de musique urbaine ne l’a rempli, en concert solo. Cependant deux artistes se sont donné le défi de le remplir pendant les vacances scolaires. Il s’agit de Maahlox le Vibeur (Zone 2 Rap) et Tenor (Universal Music Africa).

Cela fait déjà un bon moment que l’artiste du ghetto aussi appelé l’artiste de la rue ne passe plus à la télé. En fait, plusieurs chaines et radios culturelles jugent ses œuvres pas trop approprié pour leurs audiences. Par conséquent, il est censuré (comme il le dit ci bien dans sa chanson les sorciers). Nonobstant cet situation, il utilise l’arme la plus efficace du moment (les réseaux sociaux) pour se faire entendre. En effet, ses clips dépassent des millions de vues sur YouTube. Comme pour dire “ne me diffusez pas mais la rue m’écoute quant même…”.

Cette rue qui le réclame de jours en jours, le conduit à faire plusieurs scènes dans le pays et des tournées dans le monde. C’est ainsi qu’il a donc lancé un défi : Remplir le palais polyvalent des sports de Yaoundé.

Un grand défi, car sans gros sponsors certes, mais pas impossible à réaliser. Maahlox connait l’impact qu’a la “rue” sur la mobilisation.

Maahlox le vibeur n’est pas qu’un hit maker, il est lui-même aussi une machine de communication. Depuis la vulgarisation des réseaux sociaux au Cameroun, il est l’un des artistes qui s’en sert le mieux pour accompagner sa carrière.

Dans le cadre de son concert, il a lancé une polémique pour attirer l’attention sur son concert. Tactique qui a bien marché car plusieurs personnes se sont vu impliquer dans ce concert sans s’en rendre compte. Il compte pour la même occasion rendre un brillant hommage au lion indomptable Marc Vivien Foé décédé le 26 juin 2003 lors de la demi-finale de la coupe des confédérations. Rappelons qu’il a le soutien de plusieurs artistes notamment Jovi, Salatiel, Mr Leo, Askia, Krotal, Blaise B et bien d’autres. Samuel Eto’o lui a même aussi fait un post sur Instagram pour marquer son soutien. Toute la ville de Yaoundé est désormais habillé aux couleurs du Paposy.

Les billets sont déjà disponibles sur Jumia.cm et dans les magasins Santa Lucia.

Tout laisse à croire que ce concert organisé par Maahlox le vibeur n’est pas seulement un défi à relever, mais est devenu un mouvement patriotique. Vivement que l’histoire soit écrite.
